When will the emergency period end?

We don't know yet, but it was last renewed through April 20, 2021. The Secretary recently hinted they might extend the PHE through the end of 2021.

How long will audio only (phone) reimbursements last?

So far, audio-only telehealth reimbursements are set to expire when the PHE expires (see above).

When will reimbursements for telehealth change again?

Medicare will continue covering telehealth services for as long as the PHE lasts. Some codes will remain active through the calendar year in which the PHE ends (so, if the PHE ends in 2022, those codes will remain reimbursable through the end of 2022). A handful of codes were added permanently (go back to the home page for policies per code).
